From year to year, higher educational institutions in Moscow experience a huge influx of applicants wishing to get an education in the capital. In pursuit of prestige, the level of knowledge and, ultimately, the value of a diploma, people from all over Russia come to Moscow to study. It is, of course, impossible to predict the outcome of a planned admission attempt for sure, but you can assess your chances of becoming a student at a particular university based on passing scores, thereby narrowing the circle of educational institutions where you have a better chance.

Technical universities in Moscow passing score 2017 on a budget

Due to the increasing demand for specialists with technical specialties in recent years are no less popular technical universities, which, in turn, also become more demanding of applicants. Enough high level Baumanka requires knowledge - the 2017 passing score on a budget reached 263. Those who want to connect their professional destiny with physics and technology should also work hard, because in order to enter MIPT, the 2017 passing score on a budget will have to pass a considerable mark - 251.

  • At MEPhI, the 2017 passing score for the budget is somewhat more modest - 228.
  • At the same time, at the Moscow Aviation Institute, the 2017 passing score for the budget was only 32 points.
  • At MPEI, the 2017 passing score for the budget ranges from 157-193 points, depending on the faculty.
  • It will be a little easier for those who would like to get an education at the Moscow Automotive Road state university, since in MADI the passing score for the 2017 budget is 129.

If we compare with MSTU, the passing score for the 2017 budget is already significantly lower, which suggests that applicants have a choice, as well as chances - if they wish, everyone can find a university to receive vocational education. So, for example, at MIIT the 2017 passing score on a budget is also quite achievable - 175. At MISIS, the 2017 passing score on a budget depends on the chosen specialty. For training on technical faculties you need to score from 130 to 195 points, and the more complex the chosen specialization, the more points required.

At MGSU, the 2017 passing scores for the budget range from 139 to 239. Highest score required from applicants for training at the Faculty of Construction of Unique Buildings and Structures.

Economic universities in Moscow passing score 2017 on a budget

Despite the abundance of economists and lawyers in the labor market and even their high competition, economics universities are still in demand as before. But for the reasons stated above, their bar is high. So in RANEPA the passing score for the 2017 budget ranges from 215 to 248. Moreover, lawyers will have the easiest time here - they are the ones who are required to score the minimum points, and the most high performance must be achieved by those who dream of learning to work in advertising and public relations at the department " Civil service and management."

At HSE, the passing score for the 2017 budget also depends on the specialty chosen by the applicant - from 242 to 396 points. In the second wave, scores are traditionally lower, but not significantly (reduced by 3-20 points). HSE has surpassed even MGIMO in its requirements, with whose prestige only educational institutions of the same level can compete. At MGIMO, the lowest passing score for the 2017 budget is 268 points, but as practice shows, for a number of faculties the passing score here can reach 370-385.

The MSLA has not yet announced the passing score for the 2017 budget, but the minimum scores for a number of subjects have been announced. So for social studies you need to score 50 points, history - 36 points and 40 points for the Russian language.

Humanities universities in Moscow passing score 2017 on a budget

Future teachers, translators, psychologists and other humanists, perhaps, have the largest selection of educational institutions for education, but the requirements for applicants here are no softer than for economists or mechanics. In the first wave at MSLU, the 2017 passing score for the budget ranged from 219-345 points, however, already in the second wave the requirements for them were softened very significantly. So, if initially for admission to the Faculty of Psychology it was necessary to score 231 points, then in the second wave it was only 184 and this trend continues in all specialties, and in some the passing score was reduced by almost 50 points.

RUDN University presented applicants with a detailed table indicating the scores for each subject that are required for admission to this university. So for the Russian language you need to score 40 points, specialized mathematics - 28 points, physics - 38 points, chemistry - 40 points, computer science - 44 points, biology - 40, history you need to know 36 points, geography 41, social studies 43, literature by 36, and foreign languages by 24. If admission to the faculty you want involves a professional or creative test, be prepared for the fact that you need to score 30 points for them, and for admission to the master's program you will also need 30 points.

At the Russian State University for the Humanities, the passing score for the 2017 budget ranges from 175-263. Best results here are expected from applicants to study at the Faculty of Classical Philology. And at Moscow State Pedagogical University the passing score for the 2017 budget is from 136 to 196 points - this is more realistic if you doubt your abilities.
