1) Fine exam of 3 tasks:

– abstract composition of given geometric shapes, color sketch in perspective, A3 format
– perspective image (10 points). Based on the given plan, create a drawing in perspective of a 3D object from the point of view of a standing person., A3 format
2) Check spatial thinking(10 points) – exam aimed at working with rectangular projections and stereometry
3) General Knowledge Test (10 points) - includes questions related to architecture, landscape architecture and design.
4) Test General Prerequisites to OSP SCIO training (15 points). The overall test result will be converted into points. You must receive at least 1 point for this part.
The commission will establish minimum quantity points for acceptance without an oral interview and the minimum number of points required to advance to the second round.

Round 2 – oral interview
The oral part of the exam will test the applicant’s interest in the specialty and general knowledge of the specialty (architecture, knowledge in the field of culture) - the level of knowledge, ability to argue and communicate will be assessed.
Applicants submit to the committee a maximum of 15 original homework or school works. Maximum format A1. Works in the field of fine arts, architecture, landscape architecture or design.

Statistics: out of 470 applicants, 355 are accepted.

B1 in January, B2 in June

For the exam in January, a foreign applicant must bring at least a certificate of knowledge of the Czech language at level B1, in which case in June he will need to bring a certificate of knowledge of the Czech language at level B2. Studying at the Faculty of Transport of CTU is organized in such a way that all undergraduate students are admitted to the general curriculum “Engineering and Technology in Transport and Transport Communications”, and are enrolled in a specific specialty in the 2nd year (before the start of the 4th semester). During your studies in the 3rd semester, you need to choose one of the proposed bachelor’s thesis projects, and, accordingly, a specialty. Entrance exams for undergraduate studies: math test.

The exception is the specialty "Professional pilot": entrance exams for this specialty consist of a written test in mathematics, a written test in English language and oral interview. At the interview, the commission evaluates the applicant's predisposition to flight practice (you must bring a Medical Certificate Class 1 and an honest statement about your awareness of the need to pay for flight practice).

Theoretical training within the undergraduate specialty “Professional Pilot” is free. Practical training will cost approximately CZK 950,000 (total for all three years of study).
